Rebecca Schimkat advises companies on a national and international level as a senior data privacy consultant and certified data protection officer. With her expertise and practical experience in the field of health data protection, she advises in particular the various players in the health sector.
Rebecca Schimkat studied business law (LL.B.) at the Hof University of Applied Sciences. After working as a lawyer in a medium-sized medtech company for four years, she completed the part-time Master’s programme in Medical Law (LL.M.) at the Westphalian Wilhelms University Münster in 2021. When she joined the data protection consultancy in 2021, she gained versatile experience in advising everything from classic medium-sized businesses to internationally active corporations.
Since August 2023, Ms Schimkat has been supporting MKM Datenschutz GmbH with a particular passion for contracts, international data transfer and health data protection.
